Artists such as Eve Ensler (the Vagina Monologues) and the Tectonic theatre project (the Laramie Project) have demonstrated the power of performance to transform the written word. Here at Gallatin, it's clear there are a lot of students with important and interesting stories to tell-- yet, for whatever reason, many of their voices have yet to heard. With the "Dramatic Anthology", we hope to get many students involved as contributing writers and performers for an evening of powerful and entertaining storytelling. On April 16th, during Gallatin's "Best Fortnight Ever", selected original writings by Gallatin students will be performed as monologues. The performance will be a collaboration of dramatic readings and performances by members of the Dancer's Coreographer's Alliance.
